Roughness Relief Lotion reduces bumps and improves dry, rough skin with a specialized formula containing Urea for gentle exfoliation and Natural Moisturizing Factors for hydration. It helps prevent moisture loss and is fragrance- and dye-free.
Fragrance & Texture
The texture is rich but light, it absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky residue. The smell is mild and does not have any fragrance.
I used this lotion for 30 days to treat keratosis pilaris in my upper back arms along with The First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub. I used it daily both in the morning and evening right after showering on dry skin.
This urea lotion leaves the skin soft and is an excellent moisturizer. It does not contain any fragrances and did not leave my skin sticky, I felt it absorbed quite quickly.
It had little effect on my kp symptoms, the bumps did not really decrease but it did reduce the redness.
I am not sure what percentage of urea the product contains, but I feel that it did not exfoliate my skin as well as peeling creams containing BHA acids. Since the product’s ingredient information does not state the exact percentage, I believe it contains a maximum of 10% urea based on my own research.
I plan to continue testing different products with this one as well. I believe I will get even better results with regular use and when mixing this product with, for example, some kind of chemical exfoliating serum.
I believe it is one of the best keratosis pilaris urea creams available. However, I will continue to test products and during my skincare journey, I will also compare this to other creams containing urea.
In any case, the product is an excellent everyday high-quality moisturizer for the skin from a well-known brand with a good price-quality ratio ($0,77 / Ounce).
The product is an excellent everyday moisturizer that leaves the skin soft, absorbs quickly, and is non-sticky and fragrance-free. While it reduced redness, it had little impact on keratosis pilaris (KP) bumps and did not exfoliate as effectively as BHA peeling creams. The urea content is unspecified but likely under 10%. Overall, it offers good quality at a reasonable price from a reputable brand.
