Glycolic acid clears out your pores, and exfoliating pumice buffs it down the drain. The chemical and physical exfoliation combo goes hard on acne, KP, and redness, while witch hazel and niacinamide soothe and tighten pores.

The composition is really thick and solid, the mechanically exfoliating stones are quite large and there are a lot of them compared to the amount of liquid. Due to the composition, it is definitely more harsh than a gentle skin scrub.
The scent is fresh, it reminds me of spruce and I find it pleasant.
I used this body scrub to test it on both my hands with different products. The products I tested it with are listed below and test reviews for each product are linked separately.
I used this body scrub 3-4 days a week for 30 days to treat my keratosis pilaris on both arms. I exfoliate my skin with the product in the evenings when I shower. Along with this product I used the mentioned serums/moisturizers as a chemical exfoliant. The other products daily, twice a day.

I have had good results using this product to treat my keratosis pilaris symptoms. It suited my skin well because its texture is quite thick and coarse. For my skin, I prefer rougher mechanical exfoliators because my skin is not particularly sensitive and rougher scrubs do their job easier.
For more sensitive skin, I recommend products like Clinique’s Sparkle Skin Body Scrub, which has a much softer texture and is gentler on the skin.
On the other hand, mechanical exfoliants are quite similar and their usage time is shorter when used in the shower. I believe that their effect is based on the mechanical exfoliation of the skin thanks to the crystals containing the substance, I would primarily focus on other skin exfoliants (chemical exfoliants).
This product also contains chemical exfoliating acids such as glycolic and lactic acid, but I would think that their effect is less because most of the substance is rinsed off in the shower.
I might be terribly wrong about this, but this is how I feel lol.
I will also try different “normal” body scrubs without skin exfoliating acids in the future to compare them with BHA and AHA body scrubs.
Anyway, the product is excellent if you want more “roughness” out of your body scrub and your skin is not sensitive. Also, its scent is really fresh and natural which I liked. Also, Frank Body is a trusted Australian brand whose products are of unquestionable high quality. The products are cruelty free, some products are even vegan.
I will definitely be testing products from this brand in the future.
The price is $2.49 / Ounce which is definitely quite a value. But if you want a quality, ethically produced product, why not pay for it, I would.
